DreamBox is always on the look-out for skilled teaching artists and interns that can lead the musical theatre curriculum for a production. Each afterschool enrichment program provides 2 staff members to assist students. The DreamBox community is full of creative, innovative and caring theatre educators who remain mindful of the program's goals and teaching philosophy.
In addition to providing hands-on assistance and observation of our Education Programs, interns will learn how to create, manage and produce effective theater programming for youth. The DreamBox Internship Program immerses students in curriculum development, directing, production, and educational theatre strategies. Interns are expected to have a commitment to theater and education, provide support in the classroom, be well organized and have strong attention to detail, demonstrate strong leadership skills, and able to commit to a consistent schedule for at least one month. College credits and fieldwork hours available. After working with DreamBox in an internship capacity, interns have the possibility of being hired as Teaching Artists.

DreamBox Teaching Artists must be well-rounded in the area of musical theatre. Our curriculum demands experience in acting exercises, directing, choreography, and music. Teaching Artists are responsible for crafting lesson plans based on the DreamBox curricular objectives. Artists also manage the rehearsal schedule and casting for the program of students.
